Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Get Your Sports Here (“we”, “us”), run by Wallabout Collective Inc. in Maine, United States, collects when you use getyoursportshere.com, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
In short: we collect what we need to write and send your briefings. We do not show ads, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking, and we do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
What we collect
Your account
- Your email address.
- Your time zone, which your browser gives us when you sign in, so we can send briefings at the right local time.
- A record of each sign-in code we send: your email address, a hash of the code (never the code itself), when it expires and whether it was used.
- If you save one, the list of sports, leagues, teams and players you follow on your account, which we use to build your games schedule.
Your briefing settings
For your briefing, we store:
- its name;
- the sports, leagues, teams and players it covers, and the topics to include or avoid;
- the tone and length you chose;
- a short summary of your preferences, written by the setup assistant from your choices;
- its delivery times and time zone, and whether it is switched on;
- an unsubscribe token, used in the unsubscribe link in each email.
What we send and generate for you
- Each briefing we send: its subject, text and source links, when it was sent and whether delivery succeeded.
- Game reports you generate, and which account generated them.
- Usage and cost records for each briefing and game report: the AI model used, how much processing and how many web searches it took, and an estimate of what it cost us.
Payments
If you subscribe, you enter your card details on Stripe’s payment page, not ours. We never see or store your card details. We keep only your Stripe customer ID and the status of your subscription.
Messages to us
If you email us, we keep your message and your email address in our support mailbox so we can reply.
The setup assistant
When you type into the setup assistant, your messages and your current briefing settings are sent to Anthropic, whose AI writes the reply and updates the settings. We do not store your messages. The conversation is kept only in your open browser tab, and it is gone when you close or reload the page. What we save is the resulting briefing settings, when you save the briefing.
You can try the assistant and preview a briefing before you create an account. Your choices and messages are sent to Anthropic to produce the reply or the preview, and we do not save them unless you go on to create an account and save the briefing.
Cookies and local storage
- We use one cookie, called gysh_session. It keeps you signed in, lasts 30 days and is removed when you sign out. The service cannot work without it.
- If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Teams you search for in the games filter are remembered in your browser’s local storage, so they show up as recent searches on that device. They are not sent to us.
- We do not use any other cookies, and no advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use your information
- to sign you in and keep you signed in;
- to write your briefings and game reports, and to email your briefings at the times you choose;
- to show your briefing, settings and games schedule in your account;
- to handle your subscription and payments;
- to track usage and costs, and to keep the service working and secure;
- to reply when you contact us;
- to email you about your account and the service, such as sign-in codes, your free trial, and changes to our terms or prices.
To stop the setup assistant and the briefing preview being overused, we count requests from each visitor. We count them against a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address, never the address itself, and delete the counts within two days.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use the service providers below to run Get Your Sports Here. They handle your information on our behalf, to provide their services to us.
- Vercel hosts the website and runs our servers. Like most hosts, it keeps standard request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
- Turso runs our database, on Amazon Web Services in the eastern United States.
- Resend delivers our emails, including sign-in codes and briefings. It receives your email address and the content of each email.
- Anthropic provides the Claude AI that writes briefings, game reports and the setup assistant’s replies, and runs the web searches behind them. We send it your briefing settings, your time zone and, for the assistant, the messages you type. We do not send it your email address.
- Stripe processes subscription payments.
- Zoho hosts our support mailbox at hello@getyoursportshere.com.
Game schedules and scores come from ESPN’s public data. Our servers fetch it directly, and we send no information about you to ESPN.
Our emails load fonts from Google Fonts and images from our own website. When your email app displays an email, it may contact those servers, which can see your IP address. We do not use this to track whether you opened an email.
Game reports are about public games and contain no personal information. Once a report has been generated, the latest one for a game can be shown to any signed-in user who opens that game. We do not show who generated it.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect the safety of our users or the service.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored in the United States. Our service providers may also process it in other countries where they operate.
How long we keep it
- We keep your information for as long as your account is open.
- If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, such as payment records.
- Deleting a briefing in the app removes it and its settings. Copies of briefings we have already sent stay in our records until your account is deleted.
Your choices
- Every briefing email has an unsubscribe link. It switches that briefing off, and you can switch it back on from your account.
- You can change or delete your briefing at any time in the app.
- To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, email hello@getyoursportshere.com. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on your account.
- Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your information, such as objecting to some uses of it or complaining to a data protection authority. Contact us and we will help.
- We do not track you across other websites, so browser “Do Not Track” settings do not change anything here.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in codes are stored only as hashes, and the session cookie is signed so it cannot be forged. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and users aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian’s agreement (see our Terms of Service). If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email hello@getyoursportshere.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will also email you.
